South Shore Media was approached by the Michigan City Parks & Recreation Department to create a next-generation civic website. The requirements for this project included in-site search, the consolidation of the Municipal Golf Course and Washington Park Zoo, social networking integration, calender of events, various customer feedback channels, and a whole lot more. As of summer 2011, we're still only in the first of what will become many phases of this continually evolving project.
City Lakers Baseball needed a website to showcase all aspects of the team. This project was customized and created from scratch in HTML to take advantage of cutting-edge web design techniques, achieving a truly unique layout and design. The site includes a schedule, video, roster, and panoramic photos of the stadium.
Coffee Bytes was created as an experiement in local print news distribution and advertising. It provided news, interviews, business features, along with miscellaneous entertaining bytes of information around the area. Distributed to over 30 locations around Michigan City, Indiana on a weekly basis with a distribution of hundreds of copies.
