Mission Statement

South Shore Media's goal is to facilitate the flow of information by using the best in technology to achieve a greater good.

Company History

The first experiment in this idea was the weekly newsletter CoffeeBytes. This was a low-tech introduction into media dispersal. As that project developed, it was apparent that the in-house web design and development skills would go to waste if not nurtured and folded into the South Shore Media umbrella. The results of which you can see below as the South Shore Media Network. The latest big initiative has been Soul of Michigan City. This ongoing project is meant to unite all the information and news of our city into one central online location.

While So!MC develops and various other projects come to fruition, there will be plenty of other activities to get dirty in as the future unfolds. Look out for SSM anywhere in Michigan City with a potential for technology adoption.

Community Involvement

South Shore Media won't succeed just because it's profitable, its success is based on having made a difference in Michigan City and beyond. Below are samples of what we're doing to achieve that end.
